What’s happening...
So I haven’t posted an article for a quite some time and there are many many important things happening and important decisions being taken...
Firstly last week I have finalized my diploma thesis and handed in. So yeh I cant change anything anymore. Overall I am quite happy about it as I know I put a lot of affords into it and I did my best. I have challenged myself and wrote the work in English.. So if nothing else at I hope at least this element will be appreciated... From today on I am suppose to start with studding for my final exams but there appeared some unexpected circumstances (as usually:)and therefore I have to stay for one more day at my work to kick off my project. So I am getting little bit stressed due to the fact I have one less day to study. People who knows me better can imagine how I am frustrated when something is not going in accordance with my plan:)
Two weeks ago I have applied for the ABN Global coordinator (DLD day, CR LN respo, etc etc) I really wanted to go through this experience and at the beginning I was really sure this is MY ideal traineeship. I was short listed from 20 people to group of 9 people, went through 2 really exhausting phone interviews. Unfortunately or fortunately I wasn’t selected for the final round as there were simply better prepared people in terms of knowledge the partnership. And that fact appeared in several ways. I mentioned fortunately- You’re asking probably why...I have realized another goal or benefit of interview. The main one is apparently to select the best but for the interviewee is also to realize if you really are that passionate about the job. I found out I am not...So that’s why I sort of happy that somebody made the decision in stead of me?:) Some things are meant to be and I believe that this wasn’t the way I am supposed to go...
So now I go on with my ideal traineeship hunting:) Now I am pretty sure I want to spend next months in more exotic country then Netherlands .That the culture aspect is probably more important for me then the fact i was selected for the Global partnership position.
Last weekend my best friend from Slovakia Mirka came over to visit me in Prague. We had a wonderful time, managed to see Vysehrad, Go to cinema, visit the castle Karlstejn, stroll around the Petrin, and observe the animals in Prague´s Zoo. Thanks Mirik for the perfect time and great conversations :) Love U a looooot:)
So what’s on my plan list for the next month???
It Would be great to defend my diploma thesis, to pass the final exams and to finalize my project in my work:) Then there is waiting the holiday with my parents in Greek island Zakynthos and the trip for almost 3 weeks to the North Europe. And Of course I cant forget the most exciting process- the traineeship hunt:) I really do hope I can be matched by the end of June. So let´s see how it goes :)

Hi Evičko, i think you took it the right way not being selected. I wish you to find the best internship in the exotic and interesting country!!!
