The Emirates Adventure
I have started this post at least 10 times and have never finished. Simply because I can’t put my experience and feelings on the paper in words…
Several people were asking me when I am finally going to post an article about the visit in Emirates and I always have replied that I plan it soon….I really wanted… but It always end it up with the empty Word document…So many new ideas, information, perceptions, feelings, changed point of views, situations, beautiful places, interesting discussions- really difficult to describe…

I hope the pictures will tell you more then thousand words…

Day 1- Trip around Dubai

We visited a mosk open for public with more then one hour long presenation about Islam...I have found out what a big percentage of my knowladge about this religion was based on media interpretation... such misconceptions... :(

Our bus had several stops at beautifull places like well known beaches and shopping centres (some of them very different from what an European is used to), palm islands etc..
Day 2- Trip by boat on the creek of Dubai + Dubai old centre

Apart from the sightseeing me and Chico had a loong discussions about the economical political and social aspects of Emirates...about the culture and the way of life of local people (some of them seamed to live pretty conservative life -some of them nop:)

Dubai´s creek

Amazing Dubai museum- when U have a chance to visit this place don´t forget to get to the underground:)

In the evening there was Eastern party at the trainees´ place so I really felt like at home, just the nationalities around were a bit different:)
Day 3- Trip to Fujaira -the northen Emirates

Have seen the oldest mosk in Emirates and the beautifull surrounding, so different from what I experienced in Dubai.I would summererized it as- natural:)

In the evening we had a wonderfull walk around the night creek of Dubai, ordered Sisa, fresh fruit juices and an excellent local food- probably the libanese one:)

Day 4- Trip to Jebel HaFFa

The mountain in the middle of the flat desert

View on the Oman borders

For the first time in my life I have been on the desert and fell in love with its beauty

Chico, there are no words that would express my thanks for such a great reunion...It was an enriching experience I will never forget. Wish you just the best for your Dubai Adventure:)
